Lauren is a dedicated professional who has successfully completed her LLB at the University of the Western Cape. During her academic journey, she demonstrated her commitment to both legal practice and administrative roles by working concurrently in the legal aid clinic and as an administrative assistant.
Throughout her candidacy of articles, Lauren gained valuable experience in litigation, with a particular focus on deceased estates and conveyancing. Lauren has found her true passion in handling deceased estates, driven by a desire to bring closure and compassion to families and friends dealing with the loss of a loved one.
Aside from her professional life, Lauren is a single mom who prioritizes maintaining a balanced lifestyle. Yolande has been a Conveyancing Secretary since 2005 and specializes in Property Transfers (Ordinary/Sectional Title/Developments/Estates), Private Bonds and Bond Cancellations. She has a passion for working closely with clients to satisfy their needs and expectations, guiding them through the whole Conveyancing process and providing professional advice and quality service. Her strengths include orginisational skills, prioritising, meeting deadlines, working best under pressure, attention to detail and is results-orientated. Marquerite graduated with an LLB degree in 2022 from the University of South Africa. Marquerite joined Bluett Maasdorp Attorneys in 2023 and is currently gaining her practical experience as a Candidate Attorney. She wishes to embark on a journey of becoming not just an Admitted Attorney, but also a Conveyancer and Notary and has a keen eye for detail and precision.
When Marquerite is not working meticulously on her matters or studying for the competency based admission exams, she enjoys spending time with friends and family either at the beach or at a luscious wine farm. Her hobbies include running, Pilates and of course, wine tasting.
